Join Our Bible Reading Group
Want to take the first steps in your discipleship journey or draw closer to God? Then join our Bible reading group on WhatsApp. The group is simply about reading God's word everyday and allowing the Word of God to do it's supernatural work in your heart. Everyday the admin will post the Bible verses to be read on that day, and after you have finished your reading just reply "done" in the chat to let everyone know that you have read it. This helps to remind and encourage others to get their reading done.
So what happens if you miss a day or two? Don't worry, just skip the missed readings and pick up on that days reading. The goal is to keep reading the scriptures. If reading is difficult to accomodate everyday you may want to choose to listen to an audio Bible. There are Bible apps for this, as well audio Bibles available on platforms like Spotify.
Studies show that when individuals fill the majority of their week with reading God's word, a change takes place in their lives. Addictions are overcome, behaviours are changed, healing takes place, relationships are mended, etc. The Word of God is healing to our mind, body, and soul. It brings us closer to God. It equips us to serve His kingdom. It trains us to be godly people.
