Pastor Jarno preaches a sermon on our church vision at this season's Fall Kick-Off Celebration. The first few minutes of the sermon were not recorded but here is what Pastor Jarno started off with:
Proverbs 29:18, "where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law." In other words... "When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful."
The church of Jesus Christ has been called by our Lord to live out His vision. We at 19twenty Church have been called to live out a vision and our vision comes from Matthew 6:10, "Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
Vision: We at 19twenty Church are working to see the kingdom of heaven come near the people of Vancouver, to see His will be done in our lives and the lives of our neighbours.
